  Today my sister in-law kindly took my ear-rings back to the store which were purchased in NOVEMBER 2012 as a present for christmas these ear-rings have only been worn on special occasions and the stones both of hem have fallen out quite large stones and some of the smaller ones. These earrings are under guarantee for 12 months. I have just looked up the warranty policy and total take on board there claims. To my acknowledgement how does perfume make the stones fall out and why would you spray the earrings with perfume.
  My sisiter in -law said she was treated with atitude and unprofessional service not surprisingly as she was not purchasing any items but she did have the box,warranty and receipt of purchase and expressed her concerns with the product.
  I will be researching this and will take this complaint further people should not be treated like this surely we have consumer rights. Has anyone on here had the same problem if so can you please let me know. PRODUCT WARRANTY
  
  The warranty covers all defects in material and workmanship existing products Swarovski brand were purchased from an authorized dealer. It applies only to damages that were not caused by accident, improper use or wear and tear. Depending on the extent of damage and the availability of parts, the item will either be repaired or replaced by a crystal object of equal value. This service is free. The defective part must be reported to the authorized dealer who will send it to the national sales company Swarovski. If sent by mail, the package must be registered and insured. Swarovski disclaims any liability for damage, loss or theft during transport. (This warranty is valid for parts acquired abroad.) In case of purchase by internet, it should keep the delivery note which will serve as collateral.
